Day 1: Parc Natural de Sorteny
We start the day with a snowshoe hike through Sorteny Natural Park. Along the way, we will discover the adaptations of the flora to winter conditions and look for the traces of the animals that inhabit this valley. We will also come across testimonies of the agricultural, livestock and industrial life of yesteryear. We will go to the Mirador del Roc de la Llosa (intermediate level) or lake Estanyó (hard level) according to your preferences. In the end, we will head towards the bottom of the valley, where we will visit the traditional village of Ordino.

Day 2: Cortals de Sispony
Today we will put on our snowshoes to explore a valley full of history. This route takes us from the village of Sispony to a group of mountain houses called “bordes”. The traditional path we will take will allow us to discover the rural life of our ancestors, as well as the importance of the natural resources for them. We can reach the Cortals de Sispony (intermediate level) or climb to Collada de Montaner (hard level) according to your preferences.
Day 3: Circo de Pessons
On today’s snowshoe tour, we enter the country’s largest granitic glacier circus. This place is called “pessons”, in honour of the mounds that carve its relief. Along the way, we will skirt an infinity of iced lakes as we approach the walls of this unique circus. Along the way, we will discover how glaciers shaped the territory and the consequences of their presence in the country.

Day 4: Querol lake
This snowshoe hike takes us from the Ransol valley to the emblematic Incles valley. Crossing the forest, we will reach the high mountain to find the lake Querol. The beauty of this hidden place is surprising and offers an amazing panoramic view. We will finish at noon, tasting a snack with typical products of the Pyrenees.
